Requirements for articles


Scientific Yearbook «Studies on Archival Affairs and Records Keeping»

«Studies...» recorded by the Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine as professional issue in specialty «Historical Sciences» (the Bulletin of the HAC of Ukraine, 1999, № 4, p. 47). According to the Presidium Decree of the HAC of Ukraine since 15.01.2003 № 705/1, research papers are considered as professional consisting of the required elements:

  • problem stating and its relationship with important scientific and practical tasks;
  • analysis of recent researches and publications starting the problem solution the author grounds on;
  • highlighting previously unsolved aspects of the problem, which the article is devoted to; purposes and prospects;
  • the main material with full justification of scientific results;
  • conclusions of this study and further research in this direction.

The editorial board accepts manuscripts of the articles in a single copy. The paper should not exceed 10–14 pages (0,5–0,7 author sheet). Authors are responsible for the contents of the article, the authenticity of facts, quotations, dates, etc. The editorial board reserves the right to edit and cut the material submitted.

The article should be accompanied by information about the author(s) – name, first name (in full), academic degree, academic rank, place of work and position, phone numbers, e-mail.

The article should be accompanied by the annotation and key words in Ukrainian, English and Russian. Author(s) should also submit their first name, name and title of the article in English. The abstract should be available for a wide range of readers and at the same time reflect the contents of the article.

The manuscript should be typed without hyphenation of words in text editor Microsoft Word for Windows, font Times New Roman, 12 pt, by 1,0 spacing, paragraph must be 10 mm.

The abstract is printed in italics, font Times New Roman, 11 pt, by 1,0 spacing, separating the text from a free line.

Indentations are formatted in the text automatically. Use for indentation on the top line spaces (spaces) or tab is not allowed.

References (footnotes) are carried out via the menu «Insert» automatically at the end of the text.

If the article is sent by mail, in addition to copy in printed form, should be given a CD-ROM recording file format DOC or RTF.

References to «Studies...» when reprinting publications is required.

Archeographical Yearbook «Pam’yatky»

«Pam’yatky» recorded by the Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine as professional issue in specialty «Historical Sciences» (the Bulletin of the HAC of Ukraine, 1999, № 4).

The editorial board accepts manuscripts of the articles printed (one copy) and electronically. The paper should be in the form of a scientific inventory of documents or scientific publication of documents and information about them.

The manuscript should be typed without hyphenation of words in text editor Microsoft Word for Windows, font Times New Roman, 12 pt, by 1,0 spacing, paragraph must be 10 mm.

The abstract is printed in italics, font Times New Roman, 11 pt, by 1,0 spacing, separating the text from a free line.
